Our approach to GDPR

Horizon Grid SIA is committed to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for all visitors and clients located in the EEA and UK. This page summarises the specific measures we take; our full Privacy Policy covers what data we collect and why.

Data controller

Horizon Grid SIA, registration no. 40203602016, Marijas iela 18A-10, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia, is the data controller for personal data processed via horizongrid.eu.

Lawful basis for processing

We only process personal data where we have a valid legal basis: consent, contractual necessity, legal obligation, or legitimate interest — as set out in detail in our Privacy Policy.

Data minimisation

We collect only the data needed to respond to enquiries, arrange consultations, and — where you consent — understand aggregate site usage. We do not run non-essential tracking before you have made a cookie choice.

Security measures

• The Site is served over HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• Access to any stored enquiry data is limited to the Horizon Grid team members who need it to respond to you.
• We rely on reputable infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel for hosting) that maintain their own security and compliance programmes.

Data Protection Officer

Given our size and the limited scope of processing, we have not appointed a statutory Data Protection Officer, as this is not currently required under Art. 37 GDPR. Privacy enquiries are handled directly by andreyfrost@gmail.com.

International transfers

Where a service provider processes data outside the EEA (for example, US-based hosting or analytics infrastructure), we require appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
